FCE - Research Centre for Evaluation
The research centre for evaluation (FCE, Forskningscenter for Evaluering) is a cross-disciplinary group of evaluations researchers from different departments at the Faculty of Social Science at Aalborg University. The objectives of the research centre are:
To conduct scientific evaluations of various policies, programmes and interventions
To refine the study of evaluation as a concept, theory and method
To study evaluation as a trend in public sector governance and organisation
To teach and supervise students of evaluation at bachelor, master and Ph.D.-level
The research centre for evaluation was founded in 2011 and consists of professors, associate and assistant professors and Ph.D.-students from the Department of Political Science; the Department of Sociology and Social Work; The Department of Business and Management; and the Department of Learning and Philosophy.
